Two of my good friends tied the knot two months ago after a great 6 years together. How convenient it was that they live in Charleston, South Carolina...the #4 destination wedding spot in the country! There were so many beautiful and unique wedding venues right here in the very city they lived in!

They rented a gorgeous beach house situated away from the area of town where all the tourists spend their time. The home was serene, and the weather on their wedding day was absolutely ideal...sunny and not a bit of humidity!
There certainly were a lot of perks to their decision to hold the wedding at a beach house. First, for the same price they would have paid for a traditional venue, they were able to rent the house for a whole week, providing their families from out of town a free place to stay. And the beauty of this type of wedding is they were able to provide their own food, refreshments, and decorate as they pleased. There were no minimum requirements or overpriced drinks like all other venues would have charged.
However, the house was a bit difficult to find and hard to distinguish from the other beach houses on the same street. So they made a decision to order a custom banner announcing their nupitals. The sign simply stated "Casey and John are Getting Hitched!" along with the date of their wedding.
This vinyl banner not only helped guests find their wedding spot, but it stirred up excitement for all those staying at the house the whole week leading up to the wedding! And lastly, it gave Casey and John a keepsake from their special day.
