Three Ways To See Your Song On A Custom Banner
Summer is here, which means it's time to see some live music. Seeing a concert in the summertime is great because the shows are usually outside, which is much more fun, at least in my opinion, than seeing a show inside a coliseum of arena. Hearing my favorite songs and hanging out with a big group of friends are the two best aspects of summer concerts. Going to a show with a group of friends is great, but it's nothing compared to hearing all of my favorite songs. Hearing a particular song is never guaranteed. It comes down to having a positive, optimistic attitude and a little bit of luck. Keep reading to learn about three ways of increasing your chances of hearing your favorite tune at a show. While these methods will increase the likelihood of hearing that special song, keep in mind there are no guarantees.
BRING A CUSTOM BANNER
I never fail to see a kid at a show holding up a piece of white poster board with the name of a song written on it. While I agree that using props is the best way to get the band's attention, I object to the use of poster board because I don't think the glorified paper is large enough to capture the attention of the folks on the stage. Nowadays I bring with me a bright, shiny custom banner as a prop to get the band's attention. Vinyl banners are perfect for concerts because they're light, they roll up easily and they're waterproof. This means that even during those nasty summer rainstorms, when poster-boards disintegrate at the hands of the falling water, a custom vinyl banner is still able to notify the band of your song request.
ATTACH YOUR CUSTOM BANNER TO LONG POLES ON EACH END
Your custom banner is useless unless you are able to hold it up high enough above the crowd for the band to see. Thus, creativity is a necessity when making song requests with a custom banner. It must be your lucky day, though, because I have a solution! You can solve your problem by including sleeve pockets on either end of your vinyl banner. These pockets allow you to affix metal or plastic poles to the vinyl banner so that you can then hold the banner up in the sky. This eliminates your height (or lack thereof) from playing a factor in whether or not you get to hear your favorite song.
CREATIVE BANNERS WORK THE BEST
I have found that using wild and crazy colors and lettering gives me a better shot at getting the band's attention. After all, you have to do everything you can to get the band's attention. I once did such a good job with my that the lead singer called me out and congratulated me on my vinyl banner design. The band then played my favorite song, which I will remember for the rest of my life!
GOOD LUCK TO YOU, FRIEND
So there are my three recommendations. These suggestions may not work, but they will definitely improve your odds. Now get out there and go to as many concerts as you can, and don't forget your !
